Humans could lose control of AI within five years, government advisers warn

Humans could lose control of “superintelligent” machines within five years, Britain’s national AI institute has warned. As Andy Burnham prepares to discuss safety concerns with Donald Trump, the Alan Turing Institute said there was a “realistic possibility” that AI could exceed human capabilities within five years.
