Natural England using pony cull to force us off Dartmoor, say farmers

Natural England has been accused of attempting to force farmers off Dartmoor with plans to cull hundreds of ponies. Campaigners are concerned that the cull, which is part of an eco-friendly attempt to reduce livestock grazing on Dartmoor, could lead to the extermination of up to 93 per cent of the area’s 1,000 endangered ponies.
