Alleged rapist ‘asked Pelicot for advice on assaulting partner’

A man sought advice from Dominique Pelicot before drugging and raping his own partner, French police have said. The 39-year-old, who has not been named by the French authorities, was “keen to benefit from Pelicot’s ‘expertise’”, according to police documents seen by Agence France-Presse before his trial in Lyon this week.
