Pro-Palestine activists chanting “from the river to the sea” marched through London on Saturday as Sir Keir Starmer signalled that such chants would face tougher action. The protest in Lewisham, south London, came hours after the Prime Minister had said police needed to take a more robust approach to chants such as “globalise the intifada”, which he said were “off limits” and should be prosecuted.
